Professional Life :

Independent Developer (Oct 2008 – Present):

Independent Games Developer

I moved on to try and make a go of being an independent games developer, trying to self fund projects that hopefully make enough returns to live on (else its back into the standard games industry for me).

Cohort Studios (July 2010 – Present):

Software Contractor

Contract programmer working as a game play programmer and general trouble shooter, on a
Playstation 3 project.

Abertay University (Dec 2009 – April 2010):

Software Contractor / Part Time Lecture

I joined Abertay Universities Prototype project to aid and assist students to develop working
prototypes for the project partner the BBC.

Realtime Worlds (Aug 2003 – Oct 2008):

Senior Software Engineer

During my time at Realtime Worlds I have been a prototype developer for APB, the main
character programmer for Crackdown and a key member of the server side team on an internal
project. I have had the opportunity to bring to life the ideas of Animators and Designers,
as well as provide stable solutions for other developers to build upon.

Absolute Studios (July 2002 – July 2003):

Software Engineer

I was a member of the game development team at Absolute Studios. During my time at the
company I contributed to a variety of products including Ace Lightning for PC and PS2 as well a
number of game prototypes for both platforms. Due to the small size of the team I had a diverse range of responsibilities.

Steel Monkeys (June 2000 – July 2002):

AI Programmer

I developed an intelligent vehicle control system for the Master Rallye project, an all-terrain
rally simulator with competitive arcade-style action.
